Update of Officers shot and killed
November 1, 2021 by Matthew Brown The National Fraternal Order of Police reports that as of midnight on October 31, there have been 281 officers shot in the line of duty so far this year, 52 of whom were killed by gunfire. There have been 86 ambush-style attacks on law enforcement officers this year (+139% from 2020 YTD), which have resulted in 109 officers shot, 26 of whom were killed. Arizona Peace Officer Memorial Service
The service was held and the new memorial is a sight to see. As you know we had two Phoenix Police Department names added to the memorial this year. Thank you to everyone that turned out and to the Lodge 2 Auxiliary for being on hand and handing out the "You will not walk alone" cards and ribbons for the survivors as well as others.
