National Police Week Schedule

2021 Police Weekend Schedule, October 13-17, 2021

Thursday, October 14 - NLEOMF Candlelight Vigil, 6:00 PM. The Candlelight Vigil will honor the officers who lost their lives in 2019 and 2020. A total of 701 name swill be read.

Friday, October 15 - National Police Survivors' Conference, 9:00 AM. Sponsored by Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), family and co-worker survivors will have the opportunity to receive support to understanding grief, prepare for trial, learn new coping skills and build connections with others.

Saturday, October 16 - NFOP 40th Annual National Peace Officers Memorial Service, 12:00 PM. The Memorial Service will be held on the West Front lawn of the United States Capitol. The service honors the officers who recently made the ultimate sacrifice and pays tribute to all the fallen.

Saturday, October 16 - Wreath Laying Ceremony and Standing Watch for the Fallen. Following the Memorial Service at the U.S. Capitol, we will then proceed to the National Law Enforcement Officers' memorial for the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony. Honor Guards from across the U.S. will stand vigil at the Memorial to honor the fallen from 2pm to midnight.
